 The rapeseed oil refining machine is quite identical. There are two ways to process crude rapeseed oil into edible oil : chemical refining and physical refining.

 The methods differ basically in the way of how to remove the fatty acids from the oil. Physical refining is passing the oil to steam distillation under higher temperature and vacuum for removal of the free fatty acids, in this way , we will get the byproducts of fatty acid, normally, this physical refining always is adopted for capacity more than TPD20.

The chemical refining is using alkali to neutralize the free fatty acid inside oil , which gets the byproducts of soapstock.
